Meditations
Sometimes finding stillness is the most productive thing you can ever do. Meditation is a great way to find peace during a busy day, clam the mind, and find the healing that you need.
Metta, or Loving Kindness, is a meditation done to send love to people around you but also to send love to yourself. Mantra meditations are a great way to really train your focus and to experience cleansing the mind by having one singular focus. It is also a great way for you to make subconscious change. Breathwork meditations are a series of breathing practices or just breath awareness that either can help you get to a more restful state or a more awake state. Yoga Nidra is one of the most powerful meditation techniques that help you go through different layers of your being until you can reach a “bliss” state. You can also include powerful visualizations that give you a new way of looking at things and deep rest.
Yoga
One of the best decisions that I have ever made was to do a yoga teacher training. I now am able to teach others to find healing by using their body. You can use yoga to open up your mind, body, soul, and heart.
Awaken sessions are designed to awake your body and give you the energy that you might need. You will also feel more open and focused. Release sessions are designed to help you find stillness, peace, and relaxation to your body and mind. These sessions are designed to be after a long work day or on your rest days to find more relief. Move sessions are yoga with a little more gearing towards strength training and animal flow. These sessions will be a little more challenging, but can also be more rewarding.
Fitness
The biological definition fo fitness is “an organism's ability to survive and reproduce in a particular environment.” Fitness is about your health, energy, and survivability. If you want to live a longer and more vibrant life, fitness is going to be key. Movement can take us away from our pain, shift your body composition, and give you the energy you need to give your all to everything outside of your own work. FItness is important and easily measurable. What to get better — do more reps, sets, shorter rest, or more difficult exercises. Inspiration is not what gets you moving, progress is. Your progressions will push you towards more progressions.
Follow Along workouts are designed to be done with me as your coach. These workouts will be full-body workouts under my guidance to help you build strength, but important movements for your own life.
Workout Walkthroughs are meant to show you movements that you can put together to create a workout according to your own ability. These workouts will teach you how to do these movements on your own. Take your time because these workouts are all based on your fitness level and how hard you want to work.
